Derma Roller

Has acne scarring or skin pigmentation affected your self-confidence?  Do you feel your skin has lost its natural firmness and have started noticing some fine lines and wrinkles?

Skin needling dates as far back as the early 20th century and since the 1990’s micro needling has been used by dermatologists in the form of Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) to fade scars and wrinkles.

Derma Roller (also known as Medical Skin Needling) is a non-ablative skin rejuvenation technique that stimulates collagen production in the skin and gives the skin a healthy, flawless and youthful appearance. The tiny pin prick wounds caused by the titanium needles to the skin cause micro-trauma and micro-inflammation.

  • The micro-channels induce independent stimulation of collagen and elastin synthesis resulting from the skins natural healing response. Ultimately the skin’s strength, structure and resilience are improved.
  • The needles penetrate through the skin to provide micro-channels to maximise the absorption of topically applied skincare products.
